Angola/China: Internautas Debatem uma Cidade Fantasma
Como ocorre em muitos países africanos, as pessoas em Angola dificilmente conseguem ganhar dois dólares por dia. O governo angolano iniciou um processo para desenvolver o país e alçá-lo ao mesmo patamar de outros países do mundo. Desta vez, a escolha foi um projeto de construção de apartamentos na região de Kalimba, distante cerca de 30km de Luanda, a capital. Para tanto, o governo contratou uma empresa chinesa, a China International Trust and Investment Corporation, que recebeu como pagamento o recurso natural do país: petróleo.

A companhia chinesa fez o seu devido trabalho e construiu 750 prédios de apartamento de 8 andares. Cada apartamento seria vendido por 75 mil euros, um preço que não está ao alcance da população local, nem mesmo se financiado por 20 anos.
O blogueiro Francois-Xavier [en] pensa que o governo deveria usar o petróleo para desenvolver as indústrias locais, o que poderia prover empregos aos cidadãos:
Or how the exploitation of Africa’s natural resource benefits only banks and multinationals! Its quite a shame for an African government to go for such a move. Oil and natural resources revenues must be used to develop heavy industry, the main engine of any economy and which is sorely lacking in Africa. This will allow access to employment and a fair redistribution of wealth and thus increase the purchasing power of brave Africans. Africans are not needy for luxury. That’s a sheer lie that is being publicized by western corporatist media working with the tiny yet heavily corrupted African elite.
Comentando o preço dos apartamentos, ele diz:

It would be easy to condense the real reason for this craziness into one word, namely: “Communism!” – or maybe four words: “Communism and Marxism-Leninism” – considering that the one-and-only ruling party in the People's Republic of China is officially committed to these socio-political ideologies, but my gut-feeling tells me there’s more to this weird phenomenon of building cities well in advance than meets the eye.
History has proven that in almost every single country in the world where revolutionary socialist movements have taken root, and more so when the people are ruled by a one party state, that there is always a massive misallocation (legalized theft) of capital by the ruling government.
So what are these ‘Masters of Darkness’ planning now with the numerous, largely uninhabited, structures that are popping up in strange remote places, mainly in countries controlled by communist forces? These new cities with their tarred roads, patches of green lawn, and neat rows of apartment blocks surely cannot be for the benefit of the working classes, as the cost of purchasing an apartment in any one of these new developments is well out of reach for the average working-class family. The communist manifesto that claims, “…we represent the interests of the working classes,” is thus complete and utter bullshit!
Seria fácil condensar a real razão para essa insanidade em uma palavra, especificamente: “Comunismo!” – ou talvez quatro palavras: “Comunismo e Marxismo-Leninismo” – considerando que o partido único que comanda a República Popular da China está oficialmente comprometido com essas ideologias sócio-políticas, mas o meu instinto diz que por trás desse fenômeno da construção de cidades há algo mais.
A história provou que em quase todo país no mundo em que o movimento socialista revolucionário floresceu, e em especial naqueles países governados por apenas um partido, sempre há má alocação massiva de capital (roubo legalizado) sob o comando do governo.
Então, o que planejam esses ‘Mestres da Escuridão’ construindo essas estruturas numerosas, a maioria desabitada, em lugares estranhos e remotos, principalmente em países controlados por forças comunistas? Essas novas cidades, com suas estradas pavimentadas, gramados verdes aparados, fileiras elegantes de blocos de apartamentos com certeza não virão para o benefício das classes trabalhadoras, pois o custo de qualquer um desses empreendimentos está bem além das possibilidades de uma família de classe média. [Quando] o manifesto comunista afirma: “…nós representamos os interesses das classes trabalhadoras,” é portanto uma completa e absoluta besteira!
