Um desafiador Hosni Mubarak fez o segundo pronunciamento [2] [en] ao povo egípcio desde o início dos protestos que pedem o fim de seu regime, há oito dias.
O primeiro pronunciamento falhou em aplacar a ira, despertanto mais raiva na multidão que pede a sua saída depois de 30 anos no poder. E reações quanto ao segundo pronunciamento não estão sendo diferentes. Na noite desta terça, ele disse ao povo egípcio que não disputará as eleições presidenciais em novembro, irritando ainda mais a impaciente multidão da Praça Tahrir.
Nenhuma das reações que vi no Twitter foram favoráveis ao pronunciamento, variando de raiva à impaciência daqueles que prometeram não esperar até novembro para ver o presidente pelas costas: eles querem Mubarak fora agora. Veja algumas das reações online:
